”I booked this house for the property, the backyard, the dock, and it didn't disappoint. It's also about 20 mins from the main town (Cambridge) which was exactly what we wanted - a break from crowds and the bustle. We had such a relaxing few days just reading, fishing from the dock, and kayaking. We were four people, but this would easily fit two families. A wonderful stay overall.”

”Loved the property. Home well-maintained and well-appointed. Clean and comfortable. The kayaks, canoe and dock were our favorites! Trevor, the homeowner was accessible for answering questions or taking care of any issues. On day 1 there was a problem with one of the major appliances and I texted Trevor, who responded immediately and solved the problem quickly. Recommend without hesitation.”

”Lovely home and property. Kitchen was well equipped for large family dinners. Home was clean and had all the amenities. We enjoyed the pool and the yard was spacious for volleyball and for the kids to just run around and be kids. Watching the sunrise by the water was a bonus! ”Three generations (11 of us) stayed for several Thanksgiving days. Played cards & games, went for walks & bike rides, cooked & ate meals together. The house and locale was just what we'd hoped: quiet, away from it all, very welcoming, room for all, comfortable and clean. The bay - so close! - was gorgeous even off-season. There were pretty sunsets and crystal-clear stars in dark night sky. Even the rainy day was lovely - view from the cozy indoors can't be beat. Much gratitude for sweet family...

”Wonderful stay at the house. The house was as advertised and had all necessary amenities. We had a blast together and didn’t have to worry about a thing with the house. I will note that the back steps that lead from the porch are very steep and elderly adult took a fall. A note on this or new steps would be great. The place was very clean. ”We loved this home. The location is excellent--close to areas like Easton and St Michael's, but out of the way and secluded. We loved sitting on the lawn by the Dixon Creek and watching the sunset. ”Photos are accurate and it was great to have a dock to go out on. It was very peaceful. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch any fish or crabs in late August. House has a comfortable layout. Lots of outdoor games for kids. Communication with the host was easy and timely. Close to Cambridge lighthouse, RAR brewery, and blackwater nature reserve. NOTE: If you plan on cooking with your group, I’d recommend bringing some basics, knives and serving bowls. The kitchen did have good pans, pots and lids. ”

”The house was very clean and was great for our home base while visiting family in St. Michael’s. The owner was very response and friendly. The house included all basic amenities and then some! The owner really took the time and care preparing this place for guests. Downtown Cambridge is a short drive and a cute little town with shops and restaurants. We didn’t have a ton of time to explore downtown but plan to on our next stay! ”
