”The Inn is going through renovations so the grounds outside were quite a mess. But the rooms are updated and very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The woman that checked us in was very friendly and gave us some good advice for places to eat and things to do. We would definitely stay again.”

”The place was very clean with a full kitchen, comfortable bed, access to a large number of tv channels, and a nice living area. Not being particularly technologically savvy, it took some time to figure out the check in, especially since there is no check in staff. The tub sides were quite high and the shower lacked stabilizer bars, which made older folks like myself feel a bit unstable. The shower floor could get slick and result in a fall if not careful. Going up and down stairs was not bad;...

”Meadowbrook Inn is within walking distance of so many stores, restaurants and a wonderful park. Parking was not an issue and the rooms were very spacious (we had a king suite) and clean. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful and even had a craft table near the lobby for the kids. Coffee bar in the lobby was nice as was availability of beer and wine to purchase. The pool was nice with towels provided. Will stay here whenever we are in the area.”

”The spa was fantastic. The front desk staff were very helpful when they were there but several times no one was present. Also, the restaurant was never open while we were there. Even tried to go for cocktail hour and other people had drinks but the bar was completely unmanned while we were there. We waited about 10 minutes and then left. There was also patio construction going on outside our room. Overall the location and grounds were beautiful and would definitely go back”

”This is a very well-maintained older property that is convenient to central Blowing Rock. You could park here and enjoy the town without driving. Although close in, it was quiet. The manager was very attentive and helpful in making suggestions for dining. The room was fairly small, but neat and clean. It's not fancy by Blowing Rock standards, but it had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable - I slept better than at home. The property was also nicely landscaped, with lovely outside...
