”A large room with a bar fridge as well as a kettle. There is a microwave in a laundry room on the same level as the accommodation. The TV remote appeared not to work, but I wasn't that interested, so I didn't ask for it to be replaced. Very convenient check-in until 10.00 pm, as the accommodation is part of a pub building. On the same site as a small shopping centre, so there's a Woolworths and lots of free parking.”

”Wonderful location beside Coogee Beach. Bus stop to City just on the other side of the street. Friendly staff. Breakfast ok but could easily be enhanced by including cheese and some vegetables. If you book a 'room without a view', be prepared to face opaque windows.”

”Either brand new or newly renovated. Very fresh and clean everywhere. Nice location for restaurants at the Spot and also close to the UNSW and the hospital. Good bus connections. about 10min walk to Coogee.”

”I stayed at Alison Lodge Hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was mixed. On my first night, I was placed in a room where I couldn’t sleep until 3:30 a.m. due to constant door banging from other guests. When I approached the South American (or Spanish) receptionist in the morning, I was met with a cold, rude response—she dismissively told me they didn’t have control over other guests. After insisting, I was finally moved to a quieter room, but the receptionist didn’t apologize and remained...

”Room was very small,not the impression that was given on the internet. Shower room was very small. Loose tap on sink. Bedroom was very small It did have an iron and "table " ironing board but I had to use the floor. Did have a hairdryer. Advert said it had breakfast but no, only had a small communal kitchen. Staff were very helpful Very well located for tram,bus and high street. Very close to Cooggee beach Easy transport to Sydney.”
