We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in November. It is well equipped with everything you need including coffee, laundry soup and dishwasher pods. This apartment is on the second floor from street level, and you may notice a moldy/sewer smell going up the stairwell to the apartment, but we DID Not notice a "mold smell" inside the apartment as other reviews stated. It was very rainy while we were there, and some of the bedrooms could feel damp. They have space heaters for every room, and I am sure if you ran the heaters it would dissipate the dampness. Great restaurants in the area within walking distance. Great views close to the apartment. We did not drive during our stay and chose to take the metro or walk everywhere. The apartment sits on one of the highest points in Lisbon, and it is a hike to get up there, so if you are not able to get around well, it may not be the place for you.
The restaurant under the apartment is great for breakfast and there is a grocery store within walking distance.
This was our first trip to Portugal and I cannot recommend it enough, the food and wine are inexpensive and amazing, a full dinner for 2 including 2 drinks each averages $40.00. The people are friendly, the cities are clean and safe and they have a great transit system. I recommend this apartment is you're going to be in the Lisbon area.
