Convenient location

The location is excellent and the property manager extremely helpful and responsive. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to shop, visit restaurants, go to Fado and tour Alfama. The amazing Time Out food court is only a few minutes away by foot. There are small mercados with affordable wine in the neighbourhood -- you certainly won't need a car to get your basic necessities. From the airport, the apartment was only an 8 euro Uber ride, which was a good value considering the distance (over 7 kilometres through the city). The apartment is charming -- lots of character, and with a great view of the river and bridge. Although there were only two of us travelling together, I could easily imagine a group of five or six good friends fitting into the flat. There is a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a clothesline; a Nespresso coffee maker and a large refrigerator; an oven, a stove, and a microwave that might also do convection. The Internet was strong and connected to 5 G and lower devices. I would caution those with mobility issues that there are many stairs (over 70) to climb in order to reach the flat. That said, I am over sixty and managed fine. In fact, I lost weight on my vacation, which I partially attribute to the daily climb. Another cautionary note is that the apartment can get noisy at night, as it is just a stone's throw from Pink Street. If you plan to go out and enjoy yourself at night, this will be a bonus. If you plan for an early bedtime, sleep in the master bedroom, which is quiet, or bring earplugs. One other note of caution is that there is construction taking place directly across the street. At times during the day, I imagine, it could get noisy. It wasn't an issue for me, as I was out every day. Also, the construction crew appeared to wait until at least 8 am to start their work. From my perspective, the cost of the rental was quite reasonable for what it offered, so I didn't mind putting up with a bit of hammering over a late breakfast. Finally, be patient with the door to the flat. It uses an ancient skeleton key, which takes some time to master. My daughter and I perfected our technique by the end of the week. Pushing in while turning the key halfway appears to be the secret. Overall, I would stay there again without hesitation.

Comfortable & Great Location

This apartment was a terrific location, close to the ferry,subway trams,& trolley . Local restaurants were excellent. Apartment was large and comfortable with fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful views of the Tagus river. We had a wonderful time here. Esther our host was very eager to help with anything we needed and went out of her way to make us feel at home. Much better than a hotel! We recommend this apartment totally. We will be back. Obrigado Esther!

Beautiful Apartment!

We had a wonderful stay at Esthers apartment. It was unique and beautiful and the view was excellent! You can see the bridge from the bedroom window. Make sure you view it at night. It was clean and well stocked. The location is in the Chiado district so it was close to shopping, sites, buses, taxis, and the train. What made this stay great was the communication with Esther. She made our stay feel welcoming and that she actually cared about our stay and time in Lisbon. The apartment is right next to Pink street! So it was loud at night with all the young people singing and partying. The noise didn't bother us, and they were gone by midnight. The only con to the apartment was the bed squeaked very loudly at every move. I would recommend this apartment when you visit Lisbon!! THANK YOU Esther.

Great location

We had a wonderful stay. Esther was there to greet us and very welcoming and friendly . We had everything we needed. The apt was just as the photos and convenient to everything we wanted to do in Lisbon. Have no hesitation recommending it.

Perfect Location and Great Space

This apartment is in the perfect location for exploring Lisbon. Everything including the Alfama is within walking distance. Great wine shop just a few doors up Alacrim. The restaurant next door kept tempting us. The Mercado de Ribeira is a couple of blocks away with fresh fruit, vegetables, cheeses, bread, fish, etc. Not to mention all the fabulous food kitchens with gourmet options. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking in. The bedrooms are cozy and the beds comfortable. The shower is great! All in all, the perfect place to stay!!!

Amazing Lisbon

We had a great time in this appartment it is in an ideal position with a gorgeous little balcony terrace with a view over the river. Apartment is ideally situated as you can walk practally everywhere, loads of nice bars restaurants and a couple of little supermarkets all close by. Ester and Edna made us most welcome left us a bottle of lovely Portuguese wine and loads of information maps guides etc and her phone number. The apartment is very light it has air conditioning toaster coffee maker microwave and lots more Many thanks for an amazing holiday and we will come back.

Bel appartement spatieux au coeur de la ville

Situé au coeur du quartier le plus animé de Lisbonne, l'appartement est très agréable; propre et spacieux, idéalement situé, à 5 min à pied d'une des gares, du métro, des commerces, d'un grand marché couvert et des rives du Tage. Les chambres sont très grandes et toutes les pièces sont équipées de la climatisation si besoin. Appartement idéal quand on veut sillonner la ville à pied. Belle terrasse avec vue sur les toits de Lisbonne. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par notre sympathique hôte qui s'est montrée très disponible et très arrangeante. Appartement que je recommande vivement et que je choisirai à nouveau si je retourne un jour à Lisbonne !

Sehr schönes und zentral gelegenes Appartment

Wir waren zu dritt eine Woche in diesem sehr schönen und modernen Appartment. Es bietet sehr viel Platz und Bilder sowie Beschreibung treffen voll zu. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und uns wurde alles erklärt. Als Willkommensgruß standen auf dem Tisch eine Flasche Wein sowie landestypisches Gebäck. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral, egal ob Shopping oder Ausgehen, alles ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Der Bahnhof ist nur 5 Gehminuten vom Haus entfernt und dient als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung. Lebensmittelmarkt ebenfalls in der Nähe. Esther, die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen und sie auch Freunden weiterempfehlen. Eine super Adresse in Lissabon. Wir fühlten uns gleich zu Hause! Vielen Dank, Esther, dass wir deine Gäste sein durften! Sabine, Dieter and Marc from Stuttgart We enjoyed zu stay in this nice apartment!

Optimal!

Diese Wohnung hält alles was sie verspricht. Sie ist gemütlich, zweckmäßig eingerichtet und liegt sehr zentral. Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Es gab ein Willkommensgruß , Obst und Wein, und sehr nette Kontakte zur Vermieterin. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Geat and cosy apartment

We stayed for 10 days at this cosy apartment, and we spend Christmas and New year's eve with our family. The apartment is absolutely wonderful, very cleaned and well equipped to cook and perfectly located in one of the best suburb of Lisbon not to mention a nice and small terrace overlooking the Tagus. Esther is very helpful and organized and ready to help when ever needed. She actually was such lovely with us that she even booked some train tickets for us and make great recommendations for restaurants. We will definitely highly recommend this apartment to friends and if we ever come back to Lisbon, we will go back to this lovely place.

Second time around!

We stayed at this great apartment last year and loved it and Lisbon so much, that property was an easy choice. Normally, we like to try new places but since we had such a fab experience the first time, why tempt fate? Happily, we felt at home and the sequel did not disappoint! todo estupendo

El piso estaba igual de bien como se veía en las fotos. Todo muy limpio, en buen estado y no faltaba ningún detalle. La dueña es encantador y muy simpatica y nos dio muchas pistas dónde se podía ir. El piso está muy bien situado y cerca de muchos medios de transporte público. Los dormitorios dan a una calle algo ruidosa, pero con las ventanas cerradas por la noche no se oía demasiado. La vista desde la terraza hacía el río está tapada por parte por un muro pero asomándose un poco se ve el panorama que está publicado en el anuncio. En total sobre todo por el buen estado del piso y su equipamiento muy completo y sobre todo por la dueña, que se encarga de todo que podría hacer falta recomendaría la propiedad a mis amigos.

Superbe nid pour découvrir Lisbonne

Nous avons loué cet appartement du 14 au 24 août 2015 pour sejour avec notre fille de 20 ans. L'appartement est très confortable , bien équipé , avec tout l'essentiel pour cuisiner. Une jolie petite terrasse pour un apéro, un dîner voire un petit déjeuner avec une magnifique vue sur le fleuve et les toits de Lisbonne. ll est situé au dernier étage d'un immeuble très bien situé à quelques pas d'une station de métro , des départs de tram pour se rendre dans les différents quartiers de Lisbonne et surtout de la gare pour aller sur CASCAIS en bord de plage. il est par ailleurs à quelques minutes des multiples restaurants et surtout à peine à 35 minutes de la Halle au marché ou vous pourrez mangé ce que vous voulez ( poissons, viandes , vin, hamburger à la sardine... fruits de mer ). Les commerçants alimentaires sont à quelques centaines de mètres et un bon caviste se trouve à 30 mètres..A noter et à voir Figaro's Barber un vrai spectacle au pied de l'immeuble. L'appartement est vraiment central et très bien équipé pour 3 ou 4 personnes. Esther la propriétaire est très agréable et sympathique et toujours très disponibles. C'est une location que l'on a hâte de retrouver ( l'appartement a déjà tous les plans de lisbonne , cascais et sintra :-)

Super appartement

Nous avons loué cet appartement du 3 au 7 aout 2015 et nous avons été ravis de notre sejour! Nous etions 2 adultes et 2 enfants. L'appartement est très joli, bien équipé vous y trouverez tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. Il est situé au dernier étage sans ascenseur mais une fois les bagages montes pas de problème! Comparé aux ballades dans les rues en pentes de la ville on est plus a ça près... Il est très bien situé à 2 pas d'une station de métro et des départs de tram pour se rendre dans les différents quartiers de Lisbonne De très bons restaurants autour et les principaux quartiers se visitent facilement a pied en partant de l'appartement La propriétaire est très sympa et ne manquera pas de vous recommander les endroits à visiter. Bref a recommander sans hésiter!!

Perfect location for a perfect visit in Lisbon!

Hello! That is a absolute nice location, very well equipped with nice technical features, for Lisbon quiet and extremly clean and in 3 min. walking distance to Chiado or e.g. to Mercado da Ribeira that is a great place to eat and buy food or Cais Sodre for taking the metro to other parts of Lisbon.
