Elegant Villa Mello with Beautiful Outdoor Area

Summary:
Vivenda Mello is a spacious two-story villa accommodating up to 8 guests, set slightly back from the main square of the charming village of Nadrupe, just 3 km from the town of Lourinhã. The nearest beach, Praia da Peralta, is only 6 km away and can be reached by car in about 10 minutes.

The Space:
The villa features a bright and generous living area with a cozy seating corner, a fireplace, and a staircase leading to the upper floor, where you’ll find three bedrooms and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. The fourth bedroom is on the ground floor and can also serve as a reading or workspace, as it includes a comfortable sofa bed. The open-plan kitchen and dining area – fully equipped and ideal for up to 8 people – is connected to the main living space. A second, spacious lounge area, formerly home to an old wine press, adds extra charm and relaxation. Here, you’ll also find a TV and a hammock for unwinding in style.

Guest Access:
We welcome you personally upon arrival and show you everything you need to know to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay. The house has a private gate, and parking is free and available just a few meters away on the village square.

The Neighborhood:
Nadrupe is a small, authentic Portuguese village. The house is located just steps from the central square, where you’ll find the local village club – a favorite meeting spot for locals. There’s a well-stocked bar, as well as pool and foosball tables. Just a few doors down is one of the region’s most popular bakeries – people travel from afar to buy its fresh bread. Every Sunday, there is a church service, accompanied by the sound of traditional church bells, which also ring every hour during the week.

Getting Around:
The Lourinhã area – also known as "Oeste" – remains pleasantly untouched by mass tourism, unlike the Algarve, yet offers plenty to discover. Besides stunning beaches with dramatic cliffs and scenic dunes, you'll find many worthwhile destinations: the fishing town of Peniche with world-famous surf spots, the medieval town of Óbidos, Caldas da Rainha, Foz do Arelho, and of course Nazaré, famous for its record-breaking waves.
