”Very clean, updated rooms! Very quiet! Good breakfast! Close to downtown Newport!”

”This place was amazing, clean and welcoming. It’s closed to the beach. Lots of restaurants around. The check in was smooth. And they have amazing coffee and a bunch of snacks. DEFINITELY WORTH IT.”

”Dirty shower curtain hair on beds on sheets Air from heat was musty smelling. The mattress gave me horrible back ache i was so disgusted that we were ready to go and sleep in the car. I felt terrible for the kids we drove for 5 hours to look in to the beautiful college campus Salve Regina it was ruined by this place it totally grossed me out. It was a nightmare. I wanted to cancel the room i had kids with me the clerk didn't let me.”

”This hotel is not marathon runner friendly. Many hotel's will have the breakfast set up earlier for runners as we get up as early as 4:30. Breakfast starts normally at 7 and requesting earlier was not even considered by the staff. Last shuttle leaves at 6:30, so 7 am is not an option. Plus my wake up call came at 1:40 am when i requested 4:40.”

”We stayed in the historic side of the property. The location and views were nice, but overall the property (the room, the common areas and the pool area) were dated and not clean. Examples - heat not working in one of the two rooms of our suite, extremely thin walls in between rooms and hall areas, pool area was dirty (dirt and clumps of hair throughout the deck) and had no towels the entirety of our stay, bathroom in our room had stains on the floor and counter that I cleaned myself. ”Good stay. Staff were pleasant and accommodated our request to stay closer to the pool for my niece. Only issue was tv was not working great, volume in and out and delay in sound and screen. But other than that all was good and convenient location to alot.”

”Loved my little apartment style accommodation which was also doggie friendly!!! Location was fantastic, Staff were kind and very helpful! Parking was very convenient across the street and one could walk anywhere for dinner, waterfront...little bistros on a side street..... Cliff walk and the Mansions were a few blocks away....St. Mary's and Bellevue Avenue also within walking distance..... Window shopping on Thames... it's all right there!!!! Rooms very clean and maid service was great!!!”

”When I arrived (for business) I was a bit skeptical. However, once I got into my room, I was pleasantly surprised. Happy to return. ”

”Overall, our stay was great. The room and bathroom was clean. Room was a little smaller than anticipated and TV, while in a great location to the bed, did stick out a bit and could be an issue for someone over 5'5". The hallway in the upper level could use a little updating but not an issue to the room. We did not try the breakfast as we had to be at our race location before breakfast was served. I would stay again as it was in a good location. ”

”We stayed in the Cottage and would highly recommend it! Parking was convenient in the lot behind the Inn. We were greeted by staff upon our arrival and had a thorough explanation of the amenities. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! ”

”Very friendly staff, and comfortable bed. TV didn't connect with remote so we had to get up to turn up the volume and turn on the tv, which was a little annoying. Wifi doesn’t work very well, pretty low speed. Breakfast was delicious at hydrangea house (offered on the first day) and just ok in the manor. Overall staff is friendly and I would stay here again for a no frills stay. ”
