”Small hotel in a residential area close to the beach. Very modern, clean and spacious bar and outside seating area. The room was small but not cramped and was furnished in keeping with the hotels decor. There was a birthday party taking place in the evening but the staff were quietly efficient and spent an appropriate time to check us in. If there is a downside it has to be the car park. ”This is a small hotel in a good location just a couple of minutes walk from the Brighton Pier. I stayed alone in a small (bigger than London small) room with a comfy bed, good shower, wall-tv and a fridge. Quite comfortable in March-April, however might get hot in the summer as there's no AC in this room. Breakfast also available, I did not use this opportunity. Service very friendly, made you feel welcome. Price level also very reasonable: I will definitely consider staying here again if back...

"Booked a suite. Arrived early, asked if any chance to get a room earlier because of travelling a lack of sleep. Told, the would call us if possible. No call.. sat at reseption… at 2pm asked again, reply was ”no it is 4pm”. Sat there and watched many guests check in at 2.30. We spoke to the manager and she was no help, just adamant, It turns out, you pay for a suite and you are left till last, so book a normal room, pay less and enjoy your room more. Cleaning: Room was not cleaned properly. Hair and crumbes everywhere. Carpet was taped in the main area with duck tape. Breakfast: no fresh pressed orange juice. Carton juice..cheap.. All ingredients poor. We were assigned a table by the window. Next morning different table. No order to service. This is certainly not THE GRAND "
