Super relaxing trip
Really liked this place. Wanted to get away for a few days so we rented this property because of the proximity to the lake. We decided to bring our boat down and thankfully the marina down the road allowed us easy access to the lake. Got some good fishing in. The house was clean and looked well taken care of. Nothing to complain about in the slightest. Just an a great trip overall!

Horrible communication
This has been a nightmare. We left our cell phone and owner is horrific at communicating. I kid you not when I say I’ve sent at least 10-15 emails trying to retrieve our phone. He has let us know they have found it but we can’t get it back. Two weeks without a cell phone that we have proof he said they have. I live on the same street as this home and have offered to come and get it. owner has been great at writing us asking for reviews so here it is. BEWARE!!!!

Horrible communication
We rented this house about ten days ago. I accidentally left our cell phone and was told it would be mailed to me. I have emailed four times and absolutely can not get a word back from the owner. They do however keep sending me coupons to return and stay again, also asking for a review, so here it is. I really need my cell phone back. Hopefully you see this message and respond to my numerous attempts to retrieve it.

It is unfortunate that you left our home a 1-star review because of an item you lost. I know that we have had this item mailed back to you, but your review in no way reflects this home or your reservation but just an action of your own doing. We were in communication with you and asked you numerous times for a mailing address with no response. Once you finally responded with your address we mailed the phone immediately.

Amazing beautiful home, but super family friendly at the same time! Love the comfort of the beds and that it had a lot of what you might need already! Definitely recommend this place!

Overall we had a great weekend at this property!
We spent a weekend at this property, and overall we had a great time . The bedroom downstairs with 6 beds is a must, if you are traveling with kids . The kids enjoyed playing and having a sleepover all together . The only thing I can mention is that driveway can accommodate only 4 cars which I think the owner should mention about in the house description, also since the house is supposed to host 20 people , I think you should take in consideration that you guys will need to have at least 20 silverware, because only 6 forks for 16 people is not enough at all, and this shouldn’t be a problem if the property manager would mention that as well in the house description ( I wouldn’t have any problems to buy those in advance) . The water pressure is super low, and as I can see there was another complaints in the reviews before, so I would probably pay attention to that as well. The house was clean, we didn’t enjoyed the weather because of the rain , but this wasn’t a problem, because we had a great time with all of our friends.

Problems: parking, and water pressure
The house is nice could have been a bit more cleaner and the water pressure is the worst I have ever seen The parking is a joke i you have more than 4 vehicles. We were told to contact the owner if you need additional parking which he gave us incorrect information. You can not park and the marine next door even if you offer the pay, the owners of the marina are very prejudice and rude and say they are tired of the property owner sending people to ask about parking.

Large Family Vacation
This house is beautiful with lots of room.The fact that it had so many beds is what sold us. All my kids and grandkids had a bed. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of pillows. Very quiet and peaceful. Someone needs to get with the cleaning service though. The floors had not been mopped for a while.One of the sinks looked like someone had thrown up and left it. There are cobwebs everywhere. Although we gave a head count, we where left very few towels and even less wash cloths. I am not blaming this on the property manager, blaming whomever was supposed to clean. We stayed 4 nights and had a great time.The only thing that will keep us from staying there again is that although it is on the water,it is right at a public boat ramp and boat docks all accross the back.You cant go right out and swim or fish. We had a boat so we had to take it out to do any of those things.

Pictures didn’t live up to property
This unit has had a lot of damage from the freeze 6 months ago and renters. This is owned by a management company and is just a number. They do not seem interested in keeping the property up to the pictures first taken. The location is great if you have a boat right in the marina with deep water access minutes away. Bob and his wife run the marina which was very nice and friendly. Lots of water damage from the freeze still not repaired just patched up. Water leaking in master bedroom from ac unit needing to be serviced. It does work and keeps the house nice and cool. Maintenance man did come out our last evening their which was a holiday weekend, not knocking that at all. Master bedroom king bed broken box spring, broken chairs on patio, broken chairs in kitchen and over will take 20 minutes to preheat. I texted with Russel of the management company while we stayed and gave him a list of items that needed to be fixed. Over all we enjoyed our trip and worked around the maintenance items that needed to be addressed. If renting just asked if everything is updated would be my first question. My fear from speaking with the contracted maintenance guy is they don’t stop long enough to repair what needs to be addressed.

Comfortable and relaxing
The home was just as it look in the listing. The back is at a slope but with a lake behind it it makes sense. We enjoyed the home, beds are comfortable. Not much around but we was already aware of that. The only complaint was there were NO wash towels and only about 5-6 large towels for a listing to accommodate 20 people. We went bought some, however host said they would have been happy to bring more. The same Complaint was in a previous review as well. Otherwise as far as the home I would stay there again. Very clean, comfortable and the backyard area is nice to be by the water.

Great little gem
Everything was clean and the house was beautiful. There are 4 rooms upstairs with one bathroom in the master room and another one for the other rooms to share. Downstairs there was a half bathroom and a very fun room with 3 queen bunk beds and old school video games, the kids had a great time there. Kitchen had absolutely everything we needed for us to cook at every meal time the whole weekend, possibly the most complete kitchen I've seen at a rental so far, which was very helpful. Patio had a deck with a grill and a table with chairs, with a door to the marina. We took a boat and parked it very close to the house for a nightly rate. Decor was very modern and beautiful. Great location in the lake, we went to Pine Island on boat, which was close, and the state park was very close as well. There's a gas station right around the corner and was so convenient to quickly buy anything else we needed. Host communicated with me very quickly, which made things easily. Overall, things were smooth and really liked the vibe. Make sure you take trash bags

Lake town peace
This community is nice, quiet, and serene. We typically go to Galveston, but wanted to change things up and try a lake town. It was a nice change of pace and was well worth it.

Couples fishing retreat
We chose this house for our fishing trip because there is a Marina right next to the house and was pretty inexpensive. Our couples fishing retreat went off without a hitch. We will certainly be back for more.

The marina in the neighborhood was super convenient and let us put our boat in the water to go fishing. And the game room was a nice touch that our kids loved. We could hardly get them away from the arcade machines!

Bummer
Listing said lake front which leaves you to believe you are able to swim and fish. It’s not allowed. Pictures were deceiving. Backyard looks flat and green. It’s actually a huge hill and was mostly dirt. There was old pizza crust in pantry when we got there, broken chair outside and a leak in ceiling in living area. Wouldn’t stay here again. Way more expensive than it should be for what you get.

Annual Family Vaca :)
The property was just as described, worked well for our annual family vacation! Clean, well stocked, updated…appeared to be relatively new construction….beds were comfortable, A/C worked great in this hot TX summer!! The downstairs “great room” was awesome for the younger grandkids, the 6 beds were perfect. With young folks we needed to be close to water access and there is no swimming in the cove. We visited the State park down the road, not perfect but we made it work. If you have access to a boat that would help, supposedly there is a nice sand bar close by, accessible via boat. We had a couple of complaints, one is the parking arrangements, only 4 spots, we were told the marina would allow parking for $5/day however begrudgingly they allowed us to stay during the day & no overnight parking. When the property boasts of accommodations for 20, naturally there will be multiple vehicles and this issue needs to be addressed. Another issue, was the washcloths & towels, we only had 8 sets & 13 people(including children) perhaps there was miscommunication between property owner & cleaning company. The washing machine got a work out ! The refrigerator(which is full size) ice maker was not working but we made do.
