The lake cabin was the perfect getaway for the weekend with some friends! Everything was as listing said and it was a very nice property. We brought our kayaks and the beach on the lake was perfect for putting in the water, nice and sandy. It was perfect in every way!

While my sons and I were looking forward to a relaxing getaway, several issues with the property significantly impacted the quality and comfort of our stay. I’m reaching out to respectfully request a refund for one night of our two-night reservation to account for the inconveniences we encountered.Here is a summary of the concerns:Sliding glass door: The door to the back patio was extremely difficult to open and close. Because it didn’t fully seal, gnats entered the home each evening. Every morning began with us cleaning up dead bugs from surfaces and floors—before we could even make coffee.Fire alarm issues: A fire alarm repeatedly beeped due to a low battery. Without access codes for the alarm system, I had to get up multiple times each night to silence it so we could sleep.Kitchen setup: Although the listing states the home accommodates eight people, the kitchen lacked adequate cookware for even four. There were no large pots or pans, and we had to split meals across two small pans. Additionally, the cabinets were disorganized and filled with repair supplies, leaving no space to store groceries, which cluttered the limited counter space.No dish drainer or kitchen towels: We were aware there was no dishwasher, but there was also no dish drainer or kitchen towels. We ended up using a bath towel to dry dishes throughout our stay.Back patio: The outdoor seating was overshadowed by a wasp infestation in the storage box. The lid couldn’t be secured, so it was unsafe

Family Lake Stay

Enjoyed our stay! Lake was very convenient for the kids to swim and the pier was close by to fish. Upstairs room was big enough and the downstairs room was comfy and roomy. A few updates needed like the shower heads and faucets, back sliding glass door getting stuck and porch upkeep. The view of the water was great but didn't like all the neighbors being able to watch us in back due to multiple houses backyards facing each other. Other than those few things we truly enjoyed our stay.

Reunion with motorcycles

We picked this wonderful location because it was a great meeting place to reunite families after some went on a 2 week motorcycle trip from Austin to Ny. We intercepted our spouses and friends on their journey back to austin and had a splendid night of swimming and catching up. Was very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend!

After a nearby owner canceled on us the night before our weekend getaway Courtney helped us and had the home ready for the next morning! She even allowed us to check in early! Lovely weekend getaway for the family.

The property doesn't have certain amenities

The property was in a nice place, but the porch lights doesn't work, and the property manager said we can stay untill 4 pm on sunday, but some lady came and said we have to leave by 12 pm. Then the property manager said we have to leave. And one neighbor came shouting at us saying we r loud coz we're laughing. i do not recommend this property coz the manager doesn't keep her word.

Perfect

We really enjoyed our stay in this quaint little cabin by the lake. It is an older cabin but was very clean. The neighborhood felt safe and out 13 year old boys enjoyed playing by the lake and exploring. The complementary popcorn was also a big hit with our boys.

Place was nice and clean , did not realize that the owner was watching us on video and listening

The a/c went out the second day late in the afternoon so we turned the thermostat up so it would thaw out and opened the doors, the neighbors small dog ran through the house and at that time we got a call from the property manager and was told that we needed to pay an extra $150 cleaning fee , at that time we realized we were being videotaped or watched she even made the cmmment that the guy in the blue shirt told the dog to come in . Was not aware or informed that we were going to be under surveillance during our stay

going the extra mile

We loved staying at this cabin! Everything was extremely clean and Courtney did an amazing job to make us feel welcomed. We appreciated the attention to detail and the effort of going the extra mile. Definitely recommend this place! Our family had a blast!
