Huvilat – Livingstone

”Very helpful staff Food was really good all round Lots of mosquitoes!”

”I stayed at Radisson Blu Livingstone from October 30th to 31st, paid about $395 for one night. We booked two twin beds through Expedia and confirmed by phone. On arrival, we got one large bed, then two narrow beds pushed together. Mosquitoes were everywhere. Breakfast was awful. A waitress said there were no takeaway containers, but her superior found one quickly. She laughed while I complained. Most disturbing was the unequal welcome. As Black guests, we got little warmth, even before any...

”This is a great hotel. Our river view room was spectacular. The staff were friendly. The overall surroundings are brilliant, well maintained, and we saw elephants having lunch in the neighbouring national park from a few feet away (through an electric fence!). It's well located to get into Livingstone and you really can't beat staying right on the banks of the Zambezi. The pool is nice, if slightly smaller than expected, and not heated. The service was sometimes slow. Food was good, not...

”Kiva, pieni hotelli sivukadulla. Eriomainen palvelu. Huone siisti ja tilavahko. Riittävän hyvä parin päivän oleskeluun. Uima-allasalue viihtyisä, allas tosi pieni.”

”Second stay here , some areas are still being built but a fantastic future and I look forward to seeing the finished product .”

”I can't recommend it. On the next day after our arrival, our room was visited twice on the same day without permission when we were out of the room. They left the lock open after their visit. A hundred dollars was stolen from my wallet - not all of the money, just some. So was it someone from the staff? 100 dollars is a big money and stealing is disgusting. The manager offered us a room upgrade and free breakfast as compensation. I can appreciate that but how do you compensate the feeling of...

”Ystävällinen”

”Great hotel on the Victoria Falls. Super staff and extra good service. Special thanks to Edward and Gift at Front Desk.”

”Good value for money. Staff in the reseption was very friendly and helpful organising gamedrives and boat cruises. Breakfast was good with muesli, fruits, eggs and toast. It easily kept you going on 'till lunch time. The wild life was near you.We saw hippos basically every day, as bar, restaurant and pool were overlooking Maramba river. Also two small crocodiles were patrolling the river. Wi-Fi was slow, but sufficient. The menu in the restaurant had some good choices but limited availability....

”Great hospitality and cleaness!”

”It is a little bit far from central town but quietness and Value for Money is great”

”Awesome spot for a great price! Really good scrambled eggs in the morning. Just got to book a Yango to get there, or rent a car, but I'd recommend downloading Yango (like Zambia's Uber) before you go. And have cash to pay the drivers; the credit card feature on Yango is weird.”

”Our stay at AVANI Victoria Falls Resort in Livingstone, Zambia, was nothing short of extraordinary.
