”The venue is currently set up for youth residential events so it doesn't have hotel facilities. Our room was modern and clean with comfortable beds and a good bathroom, but it would have benefited from a few extra amenities. Still, the staff were friendly and welcoming, we absolutely loved the estate and we look forward to visiting again soon. It's a great place for families who enjoy outdoor activities. ”On the plus side the staff were friendly, the price good, the bed comfy and the parking free.
On the negative side, everything looked a bit shabby, doors were dirty, the window in the bedroom didn’t close properly and when a heavy burst of rain occurred water was flowing into the bedroom. ”Beautiful setting right on the river with a very friendly staff team and clean and well appointed rooms.
It’s not luxurious but everything is thought through and it’s clean.
Mattress on the bed was a bit worn - I could feel the springs a bit, so that could do with a replacement but it was a generally really comfortable and relaxed stay.
Food was very good - very nice cooked breakfast and I had one evening meal which was very generous.

”Fantastic hotel and pub, very cosy and set in a fab location. The room we stayed in was delightful, very large with great amenities.
