”A beautiful home, which has been renovated to a very high standard, in keeping with the original period. Our hosts were very friendly and our privacy was observed. The house is set in a wonderful location, a short walk from the town of Newcastle Emlyn. It is within easy driving distance of the coast. The bed was very comfortable and we had a most enjoyable few days here.”

”Really enjoyable stay. Hotel and rooms have been modernised and look great, aside from a few creaky floorboards! Very quiet when we stayed (missed the nightclub by one day fortunately). Perfect location for the town, castle, river, etc. Knocked off a mark for service as there's not a lot of staff around, but you can call for help if needed (but we didn't need to as it happened).”

”The pub is Marstons brewery so they have no control over menu or drinks, this is a great shame as the local produce would offer excellent meals both healthy and not feel like the chain which it is. Food; we did have problems with a few dishes but we raised them at the time and it was rectified. Overall really nice, just a shame there was not a lot available as in off menu, and no healthy options. Service: the staff are lovely and friendly, a lot was going on internally and things were going...
