”This is a beautiful hotel which is well situated to see the tomb of Pelayo and the basilica. Charming and full of character, this hotel is worth the money. The restaurant serves dinner with Asturian classics at a reasonable price. The only criticism is that the waiter could not tell us anything about the cheeses we were eating. As Asturias is known for its gastronomy, a hotel of this class should have staff who can talk about the food in either English or Spanish. That said, I would not hesitate...

Breakfast is not included in the price of the room and needs to be ordered the previous day. €11 per person. Fantastically comfortable and clean. Good Wi-Fi. Colunga is just a mile or so away from the hotel to the west with many bars/eateries to choose from.”

The bed was so comfortable and the ensuite shower room was spacious and perfect for us. The sitting rooms are peaceful with coffee, biscuits and a range of Spanish art books to flick through.
