”This was a great property for our family (with small kids and a dog) for a long weekend to New River Gorge NP. The house was well equipped for us all. The kitchen had all the basics needed, a small charcoal grill on the deck, a firepit with firewood, a restaurant style highchair for our 1yr old, basketball game and foosball table for the 5yr old, basic supplies like dishsoap, laundry soap, papertowels, tp and whatnot. ”This house is in the country away from busy roads. I appreciated how it felt like a really safe area with friendly neighbors around. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen stocked for cooking, and the washer and dryer were great to have right off the kitchen. The two bedroom doors don’t close, so be aware of that if that is important to you. It’s a very old house so just be aware that it has its quirks- like uneven flooring. ”Beautiful location and perfect for those attending nearby Summit Bechtel. House is clean and has a large kitchen. Eight beds and a couple couches, plenty of room for a bunch of scouts. Proce is great too. Only issue is a small one, but the upstairs ceiling is an extremely short, so not meant to walk around in unless your a kid. Overall, great location, communication, and house for a large group.”
