”This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem.”

”Die Bilder im Inserat versprechen nicht zu viel - die Aussicht vom Wohnzimmer und der Terrasse ist grandios. Ein wenig getrübt wurde der Aufenthalt dadurch, dass ständig gelüftet werden muss, weil das Holzhaus sonst etwas muffig riecht. Dass bei dem üppigen Mietpreis der Strom noch extra dazukommt, ist etwas übertrieben.”
