”Ants everywhere! Dirty Sheets with visible stains! Tiny, barely usable fitness center. No vent in the bathroom, so after the shower the area is a sauna steam bath. Iron broken and leaking all over my clothes. Fridge worked; nice, big windows; great AC; friendly staff. Would not come back if I had a choice though.”

”Our room was very clean and exactly as advertised. The pool was a tad small, but clean and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I also used the gym which had plenty of equipment and machines to get a good workout in. Breakfast had several options to choose from allowing us to find something for all 5 of us. Definitely would stay again.”

”The stay was beyond our expectations. Neither of us had ever stayed at a Fairfield Inn, but we had a great experience. The hotel was easy to access and close to where we needed to be. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our regret was that we did not bring swimwear to enjoy the indoor pool. The breakfast was more than we could ever want and definitely more than we needed to eat! We were extremely happy with our choice!”

”Let's start with check in, had to wait several minutes (5+) before someone came from down the hallway to the front desk. She was apologetic, friendly and efficient upon check in. Once in our room, it was spacious and clean, bed was more comfortable than most, the bathroom was a bit outdated. Outlet in the foyer didn't work, the smart TV in the room was not and could not connect to WiFi, despite the remote offering Netflix and mirroring to the TV? Attempted to call from the room phone to...

”We attended a wedding reception in this building in 1972 when it was a rather new Holiday Inn. Its age shows but the current owners are working to update it. Our room was newly remodeled and clean. Advice to owners: don’t shortchange a nice remodel by not replacing the 50+year old plumbing fixtures.”

”This place wasn't very well kept. The grounds were over grown. Outside security door did not close. Trash bags left by the outside doors. Rooms lacking tissues and not very clean. Continental breakfast area was a mess and drink dispenser was out of order. Among other things.”

”We had a great stay here. Highly recommend the large (total of 4 beds) family room, it was a great value. The indoor pool, onsite coin operated laundry, free continental breakfast (it's simple, but it does the job, AND they have the self serve waffle iron that everyone loves), free parking, and convenient access (next to a Walmart) make this hotel hard to beat when staying in the Troy area.”

”The hotel is nicely tucked away from everything so makes for a super quite and restful stay but yet still very much accessible to to main st. Breakfast was awesome and the staff very helpful and nice.”

”The ac unit kept going on and off, throughout the night, it got hot and it was so loud then silent every 15 mins, couldn’t sleep, asked the front desk if there was a way to keep it on and not go off, she said no, gave me a small fan to use, the next morning before checking out I went to put my suitcase in my car and I had the fan in my arm to turn in when I gave my door keys back, and the front door staff came outside yelling we took their fan, we turned around and said we are coming back in to...
