”Booked reservation with Expedia in February and paid for it completely! Arrived last night with our confirmation # only to find the Hampton Inn did not have a room for us!! Supposedly the room was canceled ....by some company in SHANGHAI CHINA!!! How do we trust reservations that can be canceled like that.... that are also prepaid?”

”Staff, breakfast, cleanliness are all great. I’ve stayed multiple times in several different rooms. My only complaint are the mattresses are not comfortable. I have back issues and need a firm mattress and every bed I’ve slept on seems like they are old and broken down.”

”Although we had no problems and we liked this hotel, the room itself lacked a bathroom fan, the curtains were not thick enough to keep out the morning sun, the bed pillows were small and one had a couple of stains.”

”For the price in peak summer weekend season, this place cannot be beat. While the rooms do need some updating and a little more attention to detail, the rooms are CLEAN. And I would much rather deal with outdated decor and some cheap paint overs rather than a luxury hotel with bedbugs, etc. I am high maintenance and would definitely stay here again if I need to work within a budget. ”The amenities and size of the rooms were wonderful. The photos of the rooms were misleading. The water park is an additional fee, but it’s the main photo for the whole hotel? Bait and switch. The floors in the room and generally on the property were dirty. Elevator was gross. Beds were comfortable. The staff at the Grand Geneva were helpful, but you are not a Grand Geneva guest, you are a Holiday Inn guest and they are not connected. No Holiday Inn staff on site.”

”We had a brief stay for a wedding in the area. We enjoyed a quiet room in the back of the building facing the park. We took advantage of the hot tub, pool and sauna as well. Very nice place!”

”This is a great hotel to stay at if you love to wake up to like views or sit outside at night in a calm, quiet area it was very relaxing. The staff were very nice. We did eat at the restaurant there Oak and order that was very delicious. I do recommend eating there. The only downside is I would like for the room to have a microwave so we can heat up our leftovers from the restaurant other than that everything was clean and I really enjoyed my stay. I will be coming again!”

”Is is improving. I am staying in a nicer grade of room. The location is better than an other hotel I tried on the far side of the lake. Heavy trash around the hotel was cleaned up. Internet slightly improved. They do need to use diffrent channels on the WI fi broadcasts. Right now they are all in a center channel and are competing against each other. I would stay there again.”
