”The resort is right next to the sea, it has lots of sunbeds and calm and relaxed atmosphere everywhere. Resort was almost fully booked but you didn't see queues or huge crowds anywhere. Lots of space in the beach.
Food in the two restaurants was really tasty and it's only 10min walk to 4he the nearby village if you wish to eat in the smaller restaurants outside the resort.
Rent a motorbike and wonder around the island, rent was 200bth/ day.

”I really enjoyed Thiwson, peaceful bungalow village with powerful air-con. Awesome detail was also the bungalow shower which doesn’t have a roof so it feels like tou shower in the nature. Rooms were clean and the staff was so friendly! Wifi was okay but not the fastest. They also provide scooter rent so you can easily explore the island of Koh Yao yai. Here you can forget time when you spend your holiday here.”

The view from the entrance was already breath-taking. The hotel is gorgeously designed, with immaculate landscaping throughout.
The breakfast buffet was phenomenal – fresh tropical fruits, eggs made to order, pastries, local specialties, and excellent coffee. We also thoroughly enjoyed the resort’s dining options, especially the Beach restaurant. Be sure not to miss the Surf and Turf Buffet Dinner.
Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable. Our kids especially loved the spacious bunk beds and direct pool access.
The pools were a family favorite – beautifully designed with plenty of loungers and a pool bar. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and peaceful, with poolside service that was both prompt and friendly.
Just steps away was the beach, which was soft, clean, and uncrowded. The tide moved the shoreline a couple of hundred meters and it was fun to walk towards the sea at low tide.
Anantara Koh Yao Yai has the best kids’ club we’ve ever seen. There’s so much for children to do there.

"Loistava. Ainut miinus oli ravintoloissa käytettävä qr-koodi, ei paperisia menuja saatavilla. Sivusto kaatui 10min välein ja hermot oli kireällä, kun joutui aina uudelleen tekemään ruokatilauksen. "

"Hotelli hyvällä paikalla kävelyetäisyys lähes kaikkialle. Jos ei jaksa kävellä, niin kyytejä paljon tarjolla.
Sijainnista vielä, riittävän etäällä metelöivästä yöelämästä, niin ei häirinnyt yöunia.
Aamupala oli riittävän monipuolinen ja runsas.
Henkilökunta oli palvelualttiita ja ystävällisiä.
Lisäksi henkilökunta järjesti edullisimman taksi kuljetuspalvelun kentälle, jota hotelleista yleensä on hankittu.
Huoneen kunto vastasi odotuksia ja oli toimiva.
WiFi toimi hyvin hotellin huoneessa ja alueella.
Voisin tulla tänne uudestaan, kokonaisuutena jäi varsin positiivinen kokemus."
