âThe Hotel Orleans was very well located if you intend to visit the old quarter and down to the river. While the rooms are quite 'cosy' they are well appointed and clean. The staff were all happy and smiling and eager to help with information about Orleans for your stay. Car parking is located under the square just a 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel issues you with a card before you enter the car park which you need to scan on entry and exit for a better rate than if you took a ticket...
âAt first I was put off by a self-check in system that takes your ID to verify, but after looking at other reviews my mind was put at ease.
PROS: Location, decor, quiet, free breakfast (we noticed pastries and bread were available throughout the day as well), easy check in (there is a clearly marked sign out front that we missed, but that was user error. When we walked up to the door we could get on the hotel's free WiFi and checked my email for code access.
Not a con but just an FYI: It's on...
âQuite basic but quite ok place for stay in Orleans. Location was excellent near city centre, not the cleanest or newest interior but worth a visit in terms of easyness and worth for money. Did not test breakfast, area seemed a bit small for that. No major complaints however.â

âVery nice little hotel in a remodeled old house. It was a little hard finding it ( end of a one way street with a very small sign on the front door). Parking was also not easy, but lucked out with a spot right in front of the place. Getting in the place with the phone was different, but not a problem. bed, very nice bath, etc. short walk to the main plaza, restaurants, shopping and cathedral. Breakfast was very good...
âHotelli on tyypillinen ketjunsa edustaja. Huoltoaseman pÀÀlle rakennettu (!) uima-allas on yllĂ€ttĂ€vĂ€n viihtyisĂ€. Kohtuullinen kĂ€velymatka vanhaan keskustaan, ok aamupala ja edullinen pysĂ€köinti.â
âThis isnât a 4-star hotel though it claims to be. The building is charmingly old, well located and the staff are friendly but some key features of a four-star hotel were missing: the aircon in our room didnât work properly, the breakfast room was tiny and breakfast quite bland with a limited selection of items which the personnel was slow to replenish.
If you get a good offer on a room, why not but you would probably be happier spending your money on some other hotel.â
