”This location is a bird watching, listening, paradise. The cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. The owner Cede is very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed here Friday Nov. 8, 2024 and were the only guest due to the rainy season. Would love to return when it is NOT raining. The rooms were clean and spacious. A great place to stay and easy to get to with good roads. We toured the chocolate farm...

”This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane...

”Backyard was the highlight of this house, on the river and very lush. Felt like you were in your own jungle back there. Very close to town, but hard to walk in dark. Front porch also fun to watch the storms come in. Close to many hikes/parks. We loved our hike at Mirador el Silencio - probably our favorite of the trip in the pouring rain! Think we did all the trails in there. ”

”Our drive there took longer than expected so we were exhausted when we arrived! It was so clean and had all that we needed to relax. The hot tub was a bonus as we were sore and tired and the view is beautiful! I definitely recommend this place!”
