”Very disappointing – Not worth the money 0/5
We booked a one-night houseboat stay in the Kerala backwaters and unfortunately felt completely mis-sold.
On arrival, there was no communication. We were asked to pay extra for meals despite them being included in our booking. We were also put on a small boat and only told five minutes into the journey that an additional fee would be charged with no prior communication.
The houseboat was nothing like the advertisement. It was old and run-down with...

”Very disappointed coming from USA.
One towel for two people. If you take chicken for meal you were not allowed to get vegetarian potion. Never seen that before.
No activities on the boat. Not worth the price

”Great house and well located. Clean and well located on a quiet alley. Nice staff who were attentive and gave us a good welcome. Great rooms and plenty of bathrooms. A/C worked well. TV was fun to watch. Restaurants 15 minutes walk away. Everything was great.
We would have like a bit more explanation on how to turn on the A/C and the hot water for the shower, and we did not like the deodorizing pods in the rooms.
All in all, we would definitely come back.”

”We absolutely loved our stay! The property is beautiful, luxurious and perfectly located by Vembanad Lake. Everything is of excellent quality, the rooms are very comfortable, and we particularly loved the swimming pool, the lovely pond with lotus flowers and the terrace, where we could practise yoga.
The team were incredibly kind, attentive and accommodating. Even though we arrived late without prior notice, they kindly arranged a light dinner for us. They also helped organise taxis and made us...
