”I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC. The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there...

”Great place and great location. This was our second stay at Riverbend Retreat and it was as good as our first.”

” The location on top of the mountain provided spectacular views and cool mornings even in July. I would suggest putting a medium sized skillet in the house to use with the convection hot plate. The fridge may need checking also. It took most of three days to cool down. Overall this is a great rental which I think was an outstanding value. I would definately stay here again.”

”It was described perfectly… everything was so easy to find within the house. Going to the house was a little scary at first but after that second gate every thing was perfect. ”

”Spent a long weekend getting out of the Florida heat with our 2 huskies. Cabin was pet friendly with fenced in area for the dogs and lovely balconies to enjoy the shade, cooler weather and lovely views. Host was very responsive. ”

I fell in love with the screened in porch. I felt like i was in a tree house. My favorite spot was the outdoor couch. It's hard to believe it is early August and we could spend an entire day outside, even in the hot tub. ”
