”The cabin had everything we needed! The location was very close to downtown Hayward, which we loved. Communication with owner was excellent. The cabin is on a waterfront, but the was a busy road you could see and hear from the property, which is why I have 4 stars in waterfront property. ”

”Third time renting here, property is comfortable, clean and well equipped. The only teeny, tiny “I hate to mention” issue was the wine bottle opener was difficult to use. Otherwise, all was wonderful!”

”Great property, easy to find and centrally located to Hayward. Downtown is less than a mile, maybe a 10 minute walk. Property was clean and pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Only suggestions are somewhere to throw dog poop bags outside, maybe provide poop bags (although we always have some), and finally, maybe put some non-slip in the showers. I highly recommend the property, if it wasn't so hot we would have had a fire outside. ”

”Perfect location and amenities with lakefront privacy. This stay had all of the things needed for a relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable stay. Landings for Lake Chippewa, downtown and great dining options were all within a 20 minute drive. Ample firewood was provided, quick communication from the owner and all in all a perfect getaway. Highly recommend this property! ”

”Beautiful, beautiful home! Absolutely everything was provided, other than food. Soft water in the house, great TVs and furniture. Very comfortable! Rent the boat or bring your own, as you need to get out on that clean, clear water! Deer came through the yard morning and night, eating up the acorns, otters playing in the water out on the lake. Dave had the firepit ready to go for us, as well as the sauna tent. It's located on a back bay, so nice and quiet. Close to town, but not too...

”Had a great weekend staying at the Northwoods Cabin Getaway. Enjoyed hiking to the many waterfalls in the area and always had a clean and quiet cabin to return to. The cabin was the cleanest we have ever rented and well supplied with everything we could possibly need. Chris & Laurie were quick to respond to any questions I had. Would definitely stay at the cabin again if it is available next time we are in the area. ”

”It's a wonderful property for a nice family get away. We were there when the weather started to dip but still enjoyed a photo session by the lake. I can imagine how much more we could do in summer. The two houses provided a nice break between elderly adult women who went to bed early and my nieces who were in their mid 20's to hang out and tell stories. The kitchen area was just big enough for us to share a meal (15 of us) and allowed us to spread out into the living room. We loved the fireplace...
