”Was extremely nice and relaxing. Beautiful lake kids caught plenty of fish. The neighbor across the pond was super friendly. The house was everything that was pictured definitely 10 out of 10 will be going back.”

”My son was at S bar F scout camp and instead of driving back to St. Louis we stayed at this gem. Quiet and cozy. Our dogs loved it too. Close to St. Francis River/Silver Mines Rec area. ”

”My family of 14 people needed a place for all of us to stay for the holidays. The twin turrets was a great fit for what we needed. Everyone had their own bed, the bathrooms took a little time to get showers scheduled, since there are only 2 showers, but it worked out. The home was fun to explore inside and out. We went for some walks on the trails, enjoyed watching the ducks and geese, or just looking out at the lake. So peaceful! ”

”Traveled with my two daughters (teens) to visit my mom. The house was perfect for hanging around and visiting with family. Well stocked and good communication from the host. ”

”A beautiful property, very private. There are horses that live on the property. The cabin is shaded and well maintained. My husband and I did not have cell service which we enjoyed. They do have wifi and a smart TV for any digital needs. ”

”This is a wonderful place to get away from it all and just enjoy nature and the company of the people you are traveling with. Bird watchers will especially love the barn willows, red headed woodpeckers, blue grosbeak, Bobwhite, and more. Stores and the historic downtown of Saint Genevieve are just a short drive away. Along with many wineries.”

”We had a family wedding at Pebble Creek Farm, just 6 miles away from The Roost. Ten of us including aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews had plenty of room at the house to get ready for the wedding, and to gather for snacks and games in the kitchen afterwards. Everything was really clean and comfortable. We would love to come back here and stay for a winery weekend! ”

”We loved our stay at Lost Creek Bluebird. We didn't expect the commute to the marina but loved the seclusion of the house. We had some of our family come in from St. Louis and some came from NE Arkansas and the house was a perfect meeting place where we were all under one roof. We played games, roasted marshmallows, made cupcakes and just enjoyed each others company.”

”Perfect get away. This place is about as authentic as it gets. The photos are great, but the true rustic feel can only really be grasped in person. The host is very accommodating and has put a lot of thought into his hospitality. There are chickens that supply eggs. We received honey and bread. It is quiet and so relaxing. We already want to go back. ”
