”The Yearling will always have a very special place in my heart. It is old Florida charm at its finest. The cabins are not 5-star accommodations, but rather exactly what you would expect to find located on Cross Creek between Lake Orange and Lake Lochloosa. They are clean, comfortable and offer an excellent view of the creek. The neighborhood peacocks call to each other while birds and other wildlife occasionally travel by. My husband and I have stayed three times so far and would love to go back...

”The listing was exactly as depicted. Host was communicative. Furnishings were comfortable. The only constructive criticism I would like to offer is that (1) we were 3 adult women, and only provided 3 towels and washcloths for 3 nights. We had to wash the towels to be able to continue using them. (2) there were only 3 total garbage bags for the small trash can in the kitchen. We cooked each day and filled them up daily. We had to buy more. (3) there was a dish sponge and dawn dishwashing...

”The place was very nice and clean. It had all the supplies that we would need for our stay. The beds were wonderful. I had no issues falling asleep. The property was also very quiet. I only have one negative and it is not about the townhouse. The pool was clean and felt great I was just disappointed that there were not any chairs so you could lay out. I don't know if that was mentioned in the information or not. We had to go and buy items to lay on.”

”We have stayed with them before and loved it so much that we wanted to come back again. It was even better than we remembered and we can't wait to come back a third time. Very clean and love the fenced yard. Our dog Sammy had a good time chasing lizards! Ate breakfast out in the screened in porch every morning and it was so fun to listen to all the different types of birds and all the different woodpeckers too. Thanks for a relaxing time!”

”My husband and I came for a weekend to see our sons who are students at UF. We needed a dog friendly place and this is it—the back is fenced so we could let them out while we were back there—so easy. The house was well appointed—nice tile, linens, and fixtures, better than I expected. It is also close to downtown restaurants and pretty close to UF too. “Tiny” home but actually plenty of room. It would have been fine to have one of my sons stay upstairs in the loft so this place is also good for...

”This property and house is well maintained, clean, and fully furnished. The dock is perfect for spending the day outside and playing in the water. The covered portion of the dock has plenty of room and seating for a group of 10. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely book again in the future!”

”Dock is great! New with composite decking so no splinters in little feet! House is small but works, we had family in and out all week and there was room enough for everyone to sleep and relax. ”
