”Fantastic staff onsite to help you with anything, whenever. Such lovely people. The villa and grounds are fabulous and very scenic. You will relax without any trouble here. We went at the beginning of the Monsoon season, and although the weather was up and down (rain and thunderstorms), the views of the storms out of the windows upstairs were magical. It was exactly what I was looking for, coming from the intense heat of Dubai.If I were to add anything to the villa, it would be an AC unit...

”We stayed here twice in a week. The rooms were very nice and clean, and the location as well. One of the few good quality accommodations near beruwala. This villa is owned by a very nice family, who were so accommodative, and helped us and we're very flexible. They also prepared good breakfast and provided nice conversation. Highly recommend for travellers and business in the area. ”

”Beautiful place, great room and bath!! Amazing property and breakfast. A little far from town or any restaurants. Without a form of transportation you have to arrange a tuktuk or walk far to eat dinner or lunch. Would be 5 star if they servered more meals and had a scooter for rent or bicycles ”

”Clean room with a new big bathroom. The pool was big and the garden is very nice. I don’t know why some reviewers write that its dirty, wasn’t our experience at all. Maybe other rooms are different but ours was very clean and excellent value for the Price.”

”Tara Garden is a jewel in a large garden with lots of exotic fruits. The 15m pool with its 30 degrees (or more, wonderful) warm water. The rooms are spacious, the master bedroom on the first floor is huge with a large balcony and seating area, 2 rooms with pool access and patio furniture. Perfectly cared for by Uncle, who cleans the pool in the morning when it gets light, then meticulously rakes up the leaves in the whole garden all day long so that the loungers by the pool are always on a...

”A delightful country, area, house and hosts. The location of Fortress de Jyaweera was perfect a special mix of tranquility at the property and walking distance to the village, beach and restaurants. From welcome to departure Indrani and Nimal were excellent. We enjoyed the trips (optional) that were organised and had some awesome experiences. Holiday memories we will not forget. ”

"This Hotel really is A hidden jewel. All The rooms have A seaview and the beach is really beautiful. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast offers A big variety of everything even for A vegan. The Hotel is A boutique kind of because there is only 28 rooms. I loved The interiors with turqoise color. You really feel A special guest. There are several turtle hatcheries close by, so you get to reliese them to The sea If you want. "
