”This was our favorite stay in New Zealand. Comfortable house in the cute town of Twizel with lots of dining options, two grocery stores, amazing stars, and convenient to Mt Cook. The house is in a neighborhood so a bit tricky to find at night, but very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and a good set up for a family. My only suggestions would be to add lamps (why do New Zealanders hate bedside lamps??) and maybe a few DVDs (after a long day of hiking, would have been nice to watch a...

”Wonderful house in Twizel. Clean, spacious, in a quiet neighborhood. Bit far to walk to town center, but just a 2-3 minute drive. Only downside was they told us after making the reservation that there were no toiletries (e.g. shower wash & shampoo). Internet password was out of date but they were very responsive in providing updated info so not a big deal.”

”So quiet and peaceful. The rooms are very spacious. Lovely views across the farm and it was beautiful sitting on bean bags out on the lawn with a drink. Great magazines plus a huge selection of books for reading and we were provided with an amazing gift basket of goodies. We have stayed at a lot of places over the years, none of them beat Coldstream Estate.”

”The home was above our expectations. Wonderful location, quiet, warm & well equipped. The wood burning fire was welcoming. Unfortunately (because of the weather) we didn’t have the opportunity to use the spa but it was clean and inviting. The only issue we had was the cleanliness of the BBQ. We were unable to use it for cooking our evening meal. Thank you & kind regards Carole Smith ”

”Incredibly peaceful and quiet. The birds were incredible to see and hear! Easy walk (at the end of the cul-de-sac at the bottom of the hill) to the beach by way of a mowed path. Beautiful!”
