”25/10 stars, for real! This place is heaven on earth! I cannot express the solitude and peace here! We also had a lot of rain while staying and it was sooooo relaxing to listen to while being hugged in warmth from the fireplace! The incinerator toilet is SO easy to use and so so so convenient! There was no shortages in planning this property for the ultimate experience! We are already planning a return trip! And a bonus: the hosts are AMAZING!!!! ”

”I stayed here with my daughter and her two sons, ages 1/1/2 and 4 1/2. We had a terrific time; enjoyed the lake, the boats, the fire pit and the peaceful and beautiful environment. Jim was close by and helpful. I did think it odd that we had to purchase our own firewood as there were several piles of wood in the yard.”

”My family and I loved our stay. This cabin had everything we needed and more. One thing we do wish we had was fans in the upstairs rooms, as we stayed in the summer time and it did get quite hot up there. The owners were very helpful, and amazing with communication. ”This was the perfect house and location to gather our family for our mother’s surprise 60th birthday weekend getaway. The property was ideal for relaxation and entertainment. ”Lovely historic cabin with fun and unique character and nice kitchen and porch. Only downside was that the wifi didn't work and, given that there is no cell coverage in the area, it was hard to get directions and generally go places because we rely upon our phones (for better or worse). ”Overall the stay was okay. I am generally not a complainer, and have stayed in many rental properties. I was initially upset about the condition of the place, but I got used to it.
