Although the air conditioner worked well it was a bit annoying at night as it was loud and would shut off when reaching the desired temperature and then come back on loudly which jolted us awake throughout the night. ”The lake house was very spacious, and the property was very well maintained. It had everything you need inside and out. We absolutely loved everything about it. We would highly recommend this lake house to anyone! ”

”We have stayed in several VRBO properties at Lake Barkley, and this one was our favorite! We had four couples, and each of us had our own bedroom and bathroom. The lake access and private dock were perfect for us, and the driveway was spacious enough for our boat trailer. Great stay! ”

”Awesome spot with a great host! Convenient location to the lake and Turkey Bay OHV, which was the main reason for our stay. The host was fantastic, and renting waverunners ended up being the highlight of the trip for the kids. The location was perfect — close to the highway, gas station, market, and liquor store for refreshments. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!”

”Very nice place! It was so quiet and peaceful…it’s basically on a private road with almost no traffic. The house is as described, with several modern updates with guests in mind. Excellent communication with host. Plenty of room for 4 adults. The screened deck is awesome!”
