”My wife and I stayed here for our Anniversary. This place was amazing, the pictures alone don't come close to showing how beautiful and great this place truly is. When I first came upon this place it was still under construction. I sent the owner a message to keep me updated on new pictures, which they did. They were also able to accommodate a last minute family emergency. I have shared this location to friends and family and I can't wait to stay at this location again in the future! ”

”The cabin was perfect for our weekend hiking trip. The cabin was just as advertised and the host was very responsive with any questions I had. We cooked three delicious meals on the blackstone while enjoying the beautiful view of the river. We would definitely book this place again. ”

”We loved the remoteness and being on the Mississippi River! They have a fire pit right on the beach, where we watched the sun set. I highly recommend!”

We needed a break from work and the QC and found this to be the perfect break we needed. So many awsome things to do within 35 mintues! Kudo's Tony on your service and the property!”

”We had a wonderful anniversary trip to Nauvoo. The historic and quaint Mix House added some period charm to our stay. While the house retains much of its 19th century charm, it has the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing stay. It may have been the off season, but food and meal choices were limited in Nauvoo itself. We were grateful for the items we ordered from The Apron Bake Shoppe.”
