”This house is absolutely fantastic! Better than the photos!Bookmark this house right now! We were amazed at the view of the inlet. We saw seals and American bald eagles. We had such a peaceful stay in this spacious home.It is actually 4 levels and 5 bedrooms. Would be perfect for a group or large family! If you want to experience “real” Maine , this is it !! ”We had such a great stay at this East End apartment. It was perfect for the two of us, super clean, comfortable, and in a quiet, safe neighborhood. We love to walk, so the location was ideal. It took us about 10 to 15 minutes to walk into Old Port, and there’s also a trail right next to the property that we used often.Dan was incredibly kind and easy to talk to. A mini-fridge, coffeemaker and microwave oven do not make this a "Studio" in the sense that I understand that word (i.e., a one-room apartment with kitchen and bath). ”We had a wonderful week at Friendly Cottage. We arrived to a spectacular view of the water from the living area, master bedroom, and Adirondack chairs proximate to the water. The home is nothing short of spectacular and was very clean and very well stocked for our visit. Everything was as described. We enjoyed exploring the island and surrounding areas and would not hesitate to recommend a stay here.”
