”What an amazing place to stay! Close to many activities but at the same time a lovely quiet location. Very well equipped with lots of DVD choices, board games and everything you need to maintain your stay. The beds and bedding was my highlight one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in for years! Will definitely be back, thanks for having us.”

”Very quiet, spacious and well equipped. What made it special was the sun room with views of the sea and the waves crashing onto the rocks. Also there were nice touches such as quality towels, throws, a welcome pack etc. The parking in the garage was tight (we have a medium size car, a C3 Citroen) and difficult to reverse due to a resident’s large vehicle being parked. I hate 1960’s architecture, but the walls were thick and you heard no noise whatsoever. For my taste, it was too cluttered. I...

”Bensly Cottage is a wonderfully cosy and characterful place to stay that is within easy walking distance for everything in Sherborne including the castles (and only a couple of minutes walk from the abbey). It makes it an ideal place to stay if you want to explore Sherborne on foot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! ”
