”We were happy to stay in the clean, simple, private cottage in a quiet neighborhood of Plum Island. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. The driveway access was tight, but manageable. We drove the few miles to the Parker National Wildlife Refuge and would love to have spent more hours there looking at birds and beaches.”

”Great location, very clean, can bike to the beaches, and there are at least two beach restaurants at the end of the street. Close to Newburyport as well. Hope they get those curtains in on the second floor fixed and there is a vent outside the upstairs bathroom (outside) that needs a hood replaced or it makes noise on a windy night. Such small things true my, and it wouldn’t stop me from staying there again!!!”

”The property is nicely located but in need of updates. A lot of the lamps are plug in vs light switch and there were some flickering lights behind the TV. One lamp was missing a light bulb. No outlet in the bathroom for a hair dryer. The second bathroom is missing a door handle making it hard to open and close. We were unable to reach the ceiling fan chain without having to get on the bed, The Air Conditioner wasn't working on he first floor which made it a bit stuff but with open windows at...

”We loved staying in this historic house — a rare treat! Our whole group, and the family who visited us, were so intrigued by the beamed ceilings, the wide floorboards, and the fireplaces. The location is excellent, very convenient for restaurants and site-seeing in Salem and surrounding towns. Our host was very responsive and super pleasant. I’d stay there again! It was an adventure. ”

”House is clean, large, and in a nice quiet neighborhood. Coffee is provided, kitchen is a good size, however we did not cook. Its about 40 minutes to walk downtown, and 5 minute drive. ”

”What a wonderful house and what a wonderful time we had there. The main floor has an excellent, fully stocked kitchen and comfy living room. Downstairs is the main bedroom and bathroom with an extra large tub. A real bonus is that it's nice and cool down there (there's also a floor fan if needed). Upstairs from the main floor is a very large bedroom with 3 single beds and a second bathroom with shower. One evening we walked down to the dock area (about a quarter mile away) to watch the sunset....
