”Perfect little bolt hole with lovely countryside views. Ideally posiitoned for walks in the forest (5 minute walk from the door to the forest) and down to Symmonds Yat. Paul was a great host, very friendly and accommodating. Everything was super clean in the 'pigsty'. Definitely a funky place to stay. Would definitely go again!”

”The Lodge was an excellent place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking an evening meal. Just what we needed as we are in out late 70s and early 80s and like to relax in a evening. We booked for 4 people as we came from Cyprus and wanted family to visit. My Granddaughter joined us for 2 nights. we would definitly recommend the LODGE to our friends”

”Lovely secluded countryside location with fantastic walks on the doorstep for four legged friends. Very quiet and relaxing, perfect for couples looking to getaway from the rat race. Ample parking, clean accommodation with fantastic touches left by the owners for their guests. We would highly recommend this listing to couples or solo travellers and would love to stop again. ”

"I had a great stay! The hotel building and atmosphere were truly amazing. The bedrooms from 12-17 got quite warm due to poor ventilation in the hallways, so that's something to be aware of. The gym was decent and the sauna, pool, and jacuzzi were a nice bonus. The breakfast was excellent, though the internet connection was a bit spotty. Despite a few minor issues, I would definitely stay here again."
