”We stayed here while bicycling the Katy Trail. We weren’t prepared for the hills but Renee took pity on us & helped us get around. We visited the Stone Hill Winery cellars. Very interesting. The Himmel Haus is wonderful. We were able to do laundry & Renee even helped fix a flat tire! She fixed us a delicious breakfast before we hit the trail again. ”

”We had a group of 8. The house was very spacious, clean and very charming and up to date . We had all the towels , hand towel and kitchen towels we needed. They thought of everything! Dish soap, shampoo, cream rinse . We did not want for anything. We all agreed that it was such a great choice for us . We would recommend it to anyone.. ”

”This is an amazing stop for anyone riding the Katy (or anyone visiting Hermann). We found it a perfect stop at the end of the long day of riding. It was right off the trail and they made it easy (so we didn't have to go out that day). The communication was great; the place was lovely. We would absolutely stay here anytime I'm visiting this area. ”

We stayed over Christmas and the host even had a beautifully decorated Christmas tree to set our mood for the week. It was such a nice surprise to walk into. So many special touches. The bathrooms were stocked with hygiene items such as toothbrushes, hand cream disposable razors and even a fully stocked first aid kit which we actually needed.
