”Excellent place just about in the woods while being accessible to Algonquin and a nearby town with a good grocery. Wood was stocked for fire and weather good enough to not even have to look at the central air/heating. Great accommodations and helpful owner. Highly recommend.”

”We arrived at the cottage and there was a strange odour in the room. Then we noticed the furnishings were tattered and the cottage itself was poorly maintained. And though we paid we left after 10 minutes refusing to stay in this inferior cottage. We are now awaiting a refund.”

”In Huntsville area to visit with grandchildren. Booked this location for the close proximity to Huntsville, for the lake, water activities (kayaks, paddle boards) and pet friendly. Could not have asked for a better location !! The Windermere is a bit rustic, but well appointed and we loved it. Can’t wait to visit again !!! Also, the cleaning staff, especially Miss Lady, were wonderful - Thank you !”
