”My husband and I enjoyed our stay here while visiting our daughter for family weekend at Juniata College. My daughter also stayed over one night. Extremely clean and well equipped house, beds were very comfortable. We will definitely stay again when we visit her. Only slight thing to be aware of is it's a pretty long gravel road to get to the house so be aware if that's an issue for your car (it was fine for us).”

”We have been coming to Lake Raystown for 20+ years to boat, camp, hike, and bike. This was our first stay at the Whippoorwill Retreat. It is a lovely home. We enjoyed the screened porch, the fire pit area and all the amenities included. We agreed to return again for sure!”

”We were greet by a super sweet lady, Sharon who showed us around the property. I would not Consider this property as “having all the amenities of home”’as there is no WiFi, couch or tv” but it’s the perfect place for. “Camping” style trip as the mattresses are very thin. There are No places deliver food to this location so make sure to bring everything you need as the closest store is about 25 minutes away. Also a little further of a drive to PSU as we realized. We will definitely be checking...

”We really enjoyed our week at this cabin. It had all the luxuries - hot water, well equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds - that we were looking for. Plus it had a beautiful, private covered porch for relaxing. And free wifi to plan our biking. The location was fantastic, perched on a hillside in a quiet rural area. Within 10 minutes, we could drive to the Allegrippis trailheads and Raystown MTB skills park. We were able to ride the whole trail system, in a few days due to warm weather and...

”I stayed at the property with several family members. Everyone was blown away by the view! Unfortunately it rained so we weren't able to enjoy it to the fullest which was a bummer. The house is very large with plenty of space for a big group, It was also spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend this property!”
