”What a lovely house! The 3 of us came in just to visit Punxsutawney and fell in love with Smicksburg! We enjoyed our stay here so much and would definitely return. The check in was simple and parking in the back worked out great. The kitchen is enormous, stocked with plenty of utensils/dishes, soap, plastic wrap, salt/pepper shakers. ”The Choo Choo Blue was a charming place to stay! Very clean and the host had some snacks and coffees there for us. There's a lot to do right there at Doolittle Station. Although we had a rainy weekend, so we didn't get to mini golf. The local movie theater was just a short drive away. Aegis Coffee shop was great, as well as the creamery and Railcar Pizza. There is a building near the train car that can be rented out for special events, which was in use the Friday night we were there. We had to...

”What a fun little getaway! Nothing crazy just simple and relaxing way to enjoy a night or weekend with your family or partner. We loved it and will stay there again!”

”I loved staying here. The room was stunning, and being in a railway car was just so unique. I don't quite know where else you can wake up and look out your bathroom window and see a Brontosaurus. Also, the hosts were very kind. I'm nots ure when we will back up that way but we're for sure staying at Doolittle Station when we do.”

While I had some technical difficulties getting in through the Expedia website, each time when we reached out by phone, we spoke to someone from Vrbo and were able to answer questions about the lodging, the access points, and were very skilled and knowledgeable. ”

”I stayed here for three months while working at a local hospital. This was my fifth travel contract and this was probably the best housing I've had so far. There was a dishwasher, washer, and dryer and even though I was there mostly in winter/early spring the deck was a great addition. Very clean and comfortable. Would wholeheartedly recommend!”

”My daughter is a student athlete at Seton Hill U and we stayed here for a few days while she recovered from ACL surgery. This home was very accommodating for our needs. All one level living with 2 full baths. Place was new and clean. Owner was responsive when needed and so nice, providing extra ice in the freezer for my daughter’s recovery. One thing to consider is that there are just the basics in the kitchen so if you plan on cooking alot during your stay, you should know that in advance....

”Nice home and comfortable. Enough room for 8 people. Dining table has 6 chairs. Could use 2 or more chairs or bar stools. If you plan to cook, you will need pots and better pans. I’m glad I brought some after reading other reviews. I should have brought serving bowls too. There is a small charcoal grill outside.All in all, my family was comfortable and we had a really nice time. It felt like home away from home.”
