”The setting is absolutely stunning. We had great weather and access to the river was terrific. Such a relaxing place. Lots of wildlife around including European beavers. An incredible range of things to do in the surrounding area and for the British a relatively easy drive down from the channel ports. ”

”Eleven if us, aged 13 to 80, enjoyed a delightful holiday here. The Manor is well-equipped, nicely furnished, and plenty big enough for a large party. It is well-situated for most of the major attractions of the Loire Valley. The grounds offer swimming, cycling, boating, walking, and a wide variety of games. The hostess, Anne Paillard, is very responsive, helpful & charming. It could not have been better. ”

”Massive thank you to Gilles and his wife for an amazing stay at this property. The photos, whilst accurate, do not do the house justice. It is truly amazing (and huge). We stayed for 2 weeks. Location is perfect, right in the heart of Saumur. Check in was easy and it was lovely to be met at the property and shown around, even when we were much later arriving than anticipated.
