”Very quirky property and we loved our one night stay. Extremely convenient for public transport (bus and ferry), shopping, dining, sightseeing etc.,. Super bar with LPs and memorabilia plus a robot to serve drinks! Shame the lift wasn’t working. Quite a lot of stairs and I thought it was going to be noisy because they are wooden and it was the end of Cowes week, but we had a very peaceful night. Can see us coming back to this place for a longer stay. ”

”Stunning property & grounds with a beautiful stream & gardens galore. Historic grain mill turned into an adorable cottage with all the amenities. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others. Especially fabulous for families, our boys adored staying in the Romany Wagon! We were fortunate to meet the owners, Rebecca & Guy, who are lovely hosts. Very close to both the ferry port & sights we visited. ”

”Great holiday stay! Clean, spacious well thought out apartment. Comfortable beds, lovely living area and kitchen with all amenities. Good parking too - thank-you for setting us up with the EV charge too, extremely helpful and handy to have. Great location - able to walk to the beach, and town, shops and takeaways nearby! ”Going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the sea was nostalgic and calming. The property was welcoming, clean and tastefully furnished. We felt safe, and had all we needed. Tea and Cadbury’s chocolate fingers were so lovely on arrival. Would love to return one day.”

”St Lawrence Manor is a beautiful house in a lovely quiet location with access to both the countryside and the beach. Several bedrooms have views of the sea. The house was well equipped and we wanted for nothing. The owner was friendly over email and very helpful. The whole process couldn’t have been easier. I recommend this house for large parties. We had a great holiday experience.”

”A lovely caravan in a superb location, only a few minutes walk from the beach. The caravan was very well privisioned with everything we needed for our stay, and our host was really lovely, telling us about the local wildlife and lots of places we could visit whilst on the Isle of Wight.”

”Childish, check in key withheld until dead on 1600. Kitchen had everything needed. Parking was a problem. Ended up parking up by the church A lot of free parking taken up with vehicles that dont and cant move. One dishwasher tablet left for three days. One toilet roll in each bathroom. Towels in two single bedroom leave a lot to be desired. Loved the rear court yard. The pond was delightful”

”The chalet was really nice with new and modern decorations. Sufficient of cookware and kitchen utensils. The location was perfect for the nearby beaches and local shops. The only downside was about the amount of toiletries. We had 4 people staying for 3 nights, but there were only 2 toilet rolls and tester-sized shampoo and shower gel. ”

"A very nice weekend getaway. This hotel is well located, has very friendly staff and is well kept. Clean rooms and a very good breakfast. Also the pool is nice. The only minus was having our stay during a very hot weekend and having a room at the rear side of the hotel facing evening sun - no air conditioning… we still slept well!"
