”This is NOT a 3 bedroom, it is a 2 bedroom with a small futon in the living room. Access is by outside stairs that are grate-style. Apartment was clean except for floors and under the beds. Kitchen was great (stovetop bulb is not operational), plenty of cookware and kitchenware. Internet was not working. Close to downtown area, plenty of parking, walking distance to local shops, quiet area.”

”The wife and I spent a few days in southern Illinois, hiking, herping, bird-watching, generally just getting away from work and the daily grind, and this place was a great stay. We weren't in the house very much, coming back in late afternoon after being out all day, but it's a great place for privacy and quiet. ”Pretty nice stay overall. Location's clean and quiet. Deer and peacocks around if you like those. Hard to get lost. Only 5 miles off from stores if you need to pick something up. Negatives: I'm short and had a hard time reaching things, so I had to buy a stool (that's a me problem, I realize). The wi-fi never worked so I had to rely on mobile data (TV streamed through satellite so that was fine). Dealt with a lot of spiders and flies. Didn't try the hot tub because two wasps were hanging around...

”Cabin was fine. Beds were good, kitchen was clean. Rooms were clean also. The hosts provided excellent extras that made a big difference. Toilets worked just fine. Since we were both in our 70s we found it tough to sit as they were quite low and seemed small. Grill was ok. Could use a burner cover on one of the burners but that did not affect our use.Overall it was a very good cabin. A fishing cabin!Picnic table outside was rotted and one section gave way when my partner rested his elbows on it....
