”I was so happy with my experience at Richard and Kimma’s home. The hosts were friendly and responsive from the time of booking through the end of my stay. When I arrived, I was given a plate of homemade cookies along with the key and a tour of the house. I was spending the week at the Willa Cather conference in Red Cloud, which was a quick 20-25 min drive away, very easy to get to. ”Great place for family to stay in with all the access to the lake. Easy to get to and had all the amenities needed for our stay. Property was in excellent condition and would recommend to stay here.”

”Absolutely loved the property. A delightful getaway. We really emjoyed the cows visiting us and great bird watching. The bunkhouse was quaint and lovely and the beds were comfortable. My partner especially loved the shotgun lamp. The floor of the shower, refrigerator really needs a good bleaching/scrubbing and the kitchen sink faucet handle had a bit of a leak that we informed them of. But the AC worked really well! Will definitely be back!”

”We had a pleasant stay here during our week in Red Cloud. The interior is fresh and modern. There was so much to appreciate:- comfortable beds and plenty of shelving/tables to store our things in addition to the closet space- updated bathroom with an excellent shower- supersize televisions in the bedrooms and living room (really appreciated the Smart TV, allowing us to log in to our service provider)- the living room furniture was immensely comfortable; loved the recliners while watching tv!-...

”Perfect little apartment, charming decor and thoughtful amenities. Perfect for when I'm traveling alone. Red Cloud still has some cobblestone streets and many of the downtown properties are being renovated. Grain trucks can be a little loud during harvest, but I slept well. Got up early to catch the sunrise on the Willa Cather Prairie. ”
