”Great location steps away from the ferry terminal. Apartment was huge and clean. Beds were super comfortable. There’s a kitchen and a wash machine if you need it. We would stay again here in a heartbeat. ”

”Das Rakuten Stay House war eine unserer besten Unterkünfte, die wir auf unserer knapp 4-wöchigen Reise durch Japan gebucht hatten. Ruhig gelegen, modern ausgestattet, sauber, mit allem versehen, was man braucht. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und bedauern es, hier nur 2 Nächte verbracht zu haben. Check-in und Check-out haben problemlos funktioniert. Tipp für Hagi: unbedingt mit dem Fahrrad erkunden. Macht einen Riesen-Spaß!!!”

”We loved staying here. It’s a beautiful apartment, very clean, with plenty of amenities. The host responds to queries quickly and is very kind. The apartment is just a stone’s throw from the ferry port and the beds were so comfortable! I’ll be staying here again next time I visit. My only small grumble is that though the apartment can sleep many people, there aren’t any large pans for cooking. But aside from that it was perfect.”

”Perfect location to spend a few days in Hiroshima. Mia Jema is our favorite spot and we wanted to be close, this is a three minute train ride. The house was really special. Thank you.”

”Clean, spacious, with everything provided, including detailed instructions for appliances. Far better than a standard short-stay rental. We were in Hagi on the first hot day of the year, and the AC was fast, effective and a lifesaver - in both living and sleeping areas. The location was ideal - walking distance to the core sights and a 5-minute walk to the central welcoming center and an electric bike rental, which was key on a hot day for zipping around the atmospheric streets. "We really enjoyed the Japanese-style room with tatami and futons - something very different from the western-style rooms we had stayed at otherwise. Everything was clean and well taken care of, albeit a little dated. Both the breakfast and dinner were an experience with a plethora of dishes we would normally never come across. The location suited us, a very short walk from the Miyajima ferry terminal and within a walking distance of the main area of the island, without being crowded or noisy. Hotel staff were extremely nice, with the reception being fluent in English. "
