”We spent 2 weeks in August at Maria’s. Lovely apartments with beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous view. Apartments were basic but had everything we needed. There is a hairdryer (which isn’t mentioned in the description). Check in was easy, we had a late arrival and were advised in advance of our apartment number beforehand and access instructions. Housekeeping was daily and maids were very friendly. As mentioned previously, it is a steep hill up to the apartments but we found it walkable....

”Positive: Great communication with the host, who allowed us to check in late; very nice and helpful host. Negatives: very strong smell in the apartment, most likely coming from the bathroom; the bathtub was very filthy, not cleaned and we have not been able to use it. Outdated furniture in the kitchen, beds very average. I do not recommend this place.”

”This is an ideal base for a holiday. It is in a very peaceful hamlet with stunning views which raise your spirits every time you gaze out. Fiskardo is a very short drive away with its harbour side restaurants and cafés there are also pretty villages nearby with very good restaurants too. We were very well looked after by the kind and friendly caretakers, who, as well as doing a great job of maintaining this beautiful property, welcomed us warmly and provided us with some delicious home made...

”I loved absolutely everything about this property. It felt like I was at a 5 star hotel. The apartments were amazing - very well equipped with kitchen and appliances, new and modern, beautiful design, great size terrace, where I was having coffee every morning overseeing the sea and the mountains. Apartment was cleaned (spotless!) and towels changed daily. The owner Nikos was the most helpful person who made our stay stress free. He prepared recommendations on what to see on the Island, helped...

”Excellent location only 30 yards to the beach, extremely quite, but plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. We only left the beach road on one occasion when friends drove us to a Jaz night. Great shower with plenty of hot water for both of us, and a very comfortable bed. Liked the little veranda which we sat on every night enjoying several night caps. The only small criticism is that not much wardrobe space for a two week space, and would have loved a fridge/frezzer.”
