”Staff was very kind and helpfull. The room was clean and comfortable. We liked to watch movies every evening. Pool was small but the view is awesome. It is difficult to walk around the city because of traffic so you should have a driver.”

”Amazing place near Nuwara Eliya. Beautiful view, which you can watch even from bath. Host is very friendly and helpful, even gave us a little gift when we left. The place was little hard to find so it might help if there would be a sign from the crossroad. Wi-Fi didn’t work properly, but it’s quite common in Sri Lanka.”

”A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. We enjoyed the food and the service was really nice and kind. Ashley is a character and brings some personality to the table. It’s very isolated but it’s possible to get a Tuktuk...

”Our family of 5 arrived at the villa at 630pm tired and hoping for a good night rest. Pressed the bell and knocked on the door before someone came down from the villa. Realised they werent aware there is a booking for the night's stay! We had to wait for a good one hour before that poor caretaker sort out the stay wt the owner for our booking and then cleaned the rooms. No service recovery and no apologies by the owner at all. Utterly disappointed! ”

”The stay in Kent Cottage is probably one of the biggest highlight of the trip around Sri Lanka. The place had a very cosy feel. Didn't feel like I was in a hotel/cottage. The team for 3 did absolutely everything and more to make our stay a happy one. They attended to our needs immediately. They cooked fresh food that was our of this world and informed us of all the local attractions and what's the best time to go to them as well as organising the transport.
