”We had the most amazing time!! We had swimming holes up and down stream!! Up stream was deeper for and better for my teen kids! We fished, kayaked and swam everyday we were there! Me and my husband loved the little coffee bar also! Got up and drank coffee on the outside deck by the river and seen some deer! It’s a beautiful place! We all slept very comfortably also!! (Pic was taken about a mile upstream when we kayaked down from mile marker 19) ”

”This is our 3rd time to stay at this property and we love it! There were 9 of us, 4 kids and 5 adults. The water is absolutely beautiful at this spot. The dam is close if you want a change of location to fish and swim. Bring a pop up and chairs and spend all day down at the water!”

”We stayed for two days with two adults and two teenagers to relax before the holidays. It was exactly what we needed and what was pictured in the listing. The property had great outdoor seating areas, view of the river, and the house was a great size for four people. It's also close to some of our favorite state parks for hiking. Would absolutely recommend and would love to come back!”

”Wonderful house. Lots of room and comfortable. Peaceful, loved watching the birds especially all the hummingbirds. Had a great time finding and feeding Mr. Donkey. Enjoyed swimming, fishing, and rock hunting. Will try to book this place again!”

”We stayed for a family funeral and the owner was so accommodating and kind. She even left a sweet card that meant a lot to us. The pictures online do NOT do this property justice. It’s so peaceful and a great property to spend quality time with a larger group. Each room was beautifully decorated and so clean. They are well stocked with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The host communicated so quickly during the entire booking and stay process. Highly recommend. ”

”Stayed 2 nights. This was perfect get away for my family and friends. Condo is nice and close to the Rough Canyon boat ramp. And swimming pool was perfect for those 100 degree afternoons. We will stay here again.”

”Amazing property with beautiful natural surroundings. The lodge was fully stocked with ample room for large families. The private swimming hole was great and the hiking trails along the spring were fantastic for exploring the grounds. Fun themed cantina and outdoor fur pit/grilling area were gathering spaces.Bonus feature was all the exotic animals on site!A definite gem in the hill country”
