”We were so pleased with our time at Vallholt! Our family of 5 enjoyed the layout of the house, the view, and the quiet town. We were able to drive and explore the surrounding areas with ease and then soak in the hot tub after a day of exploring. I could not imagine a more perfect place to stay.”

”This location was everything we wanted. The view is beautiful. We were able to access the city and be separate. The property had parking and lights that could be turned off and on a timer (which was cool) and we even ended up finding that there were sheep on the property! Thanks for letting us stay!”

”We were impressed from the moment we entered the property. It was clean, well stocked with amenities for our stay and extremely spacious for our family. For me personally the hot tub was the highlight of the stay and sitting outside in a warm tub under the wintery night sky was just magical. The only thing to note, and nothing to do with the property but there is a toll on the tunnel through the mountain on the fastest way to the close town of akureyri at 1800ISK per way.”

”unser Aufenthalt war geprägt von anhaltendem Schneesturm, deshalb lange Tage in der Wohnung anstatt Schitouren !Es war warm, es hat eine gute Kücheneinrichtung. Sehr gut ist das WiFi und die Waschmaschine im Bad. Alles recht klein, ich möchte da drin nicht mit mehr als 2 Personen wohnen. Leider kein Raum für Schiequipment, die Schi mussten im Flur abgelegt werden. Töpfe und Pfannen waren nicht wirklich sauber, die zwei beschichteten Pfannen sind uralt und zerkratzt, die sollten dringend...

”The apartment was not as described or pictured. I paid for a two bedroom apartment with a living room. There was only one bedroom and a kitchen. There was no living room and the 2nd bedroom was a bed in the kitchen. Also, someone put a huge dent in our rental car in the parking lot, which is going to cost us a lot of money. There is no way this person didn’t realize what they did, based on the size of the dent. So be careful parking back there. ”

"Kiva pikkuhotelli, tosin meidän matkamme aikana siellä oli melko selkeästi remontti kesken. Hot tubin pohja oli täynnä lehtiä, olimme menossa mutta tulimme toisiin aatoksiin sinne astuttuamme. Vastaanotossa oli söpö kissa makoilemassa sohvalla. Jos huoneesi on ravintolan päädystä hotellia ja haluat aikaisemmin nukkumaan, ota korvatulpat mukaan; ravintolasta kuuluu ihmisten äänet todella hyvin huoneeseen. Myös ulkoa, missä on terassi. "
