”The apartments are beautiful and in an excellent location. Close to the beach and an amazing array of places to eat and drink, I couldn’t recommend the location highly enough. The pool area is also lovely. Unfortunately there is construction work next door (May 2024) which looks like it may be some time away from finishing. I was disappointed that Expedia did not mention this at the time of booking, as it was very noisy and did impact sitting by the pool. There are also no laundry...

”It was our second hotel in Bali and it was big dissapointment. For example they promised fresh fruits every day but half of the time we did not get any. Breakfast should start at 7.00 but one day they ALL slept in and started at 8. Service in restaurant/breakfast is really slow. We had to wait 1 hour to our breakfast second dish. ”Leaving this review on my last day here cos I knew this place and the staff more than deserves it! ”We loved our stay at the Villa Sally. The staff were accommodating and made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious and we had the breakfast option each day which was reasonably priced. We had the dinner option on one of the nights which was equally good. Would have given 5stars, however the cushions on sofa and bed could have been cleaner, and the sound on the television was poor, possibly due to a blown speaker! Other than that we had a beautiful time and enjoyed every moment! ”

”Overall we enjoyed our stay at Makali.
