”I can’t wait to go back! We had a wedding in Cabo and because of the distance I decided to make a vacation of it and wanted to go beyond the typical resort area of Cabo/San Jose. Los Barriles is a wonderful little town that is still small, but has all amenities you’ll need. Swimming in the bay is absolutely lovely, but besides goggles you must have water shoes. I’m not a wuss, but there are soooo many rocks to walk across before getting in the water that it’s almost impossible without shoes....

”The bottom floor rooms share the outside kitchen and we all share the fire pit and front patio. We are a few blocks away from the water and close to food and restaurants and small stores. You can just walk to get around or rent a scooter right here from Pepe, the owner. He is very good at assisting with all your adventures. ”This place exceeded all my hopes - beautifully set up with wonderful gardens, pool, hot tub and direct access to the beach. There was everything we needed and more - washer dryer, two bathrooms for fussy teens, ac, a perfect kitchen and extremely comfy beds. Gina and crew made us feel so welcome, and we loved Los Barriles itself. This was a terrific introduction to a part of Mexico we’ve not been in before, but will definitely return to!”

The pool was nice and warm, location was pretty close to downtown (still need a car) but our favorite was how close it was to the beach and surrounding surf spots. ”Our three generation family had a wonderful time at Casa Alvarado! The two casitas and four large bedrooms in the main house provided us with plenty of space so that we were together but not in each others’ space the whole week. The house is right on the beautiful beach where we snorkeled, swam and collected shells. Nice pool, hammock area and outdoor fire ring. The kitchen has everything you need. ”Great for families!! Loved the ground floor condo and how the beach is right by the pool. My kids were back and forth all day. Beautiful sunrises and it’s fun to watch the boats go out in the morning and come back in the afternoon. The restaurant is absolutely delicious and we got drinks all day from the swim up bar. We will be back cause the place is so special!!”

”The Casa is as advertised, views, roomy, everything you could ask for a family reunuion! we enjoyed the views, the plunge pool, everything! It is spacious yet open.
